WET honors Gilchrest

The Wicomico Environmental Trust honored Congressman Wayne Gilchrest last Wednesday for his efforts in preserving the environment and maintaining it as a top priority throughout his time in office. With the Eastern Shore and Wicomico County being one of the of the most agriculturally focused in all of Maryland, it’s no surprise that Gilchrest, who repeatedly focused on environmental issues, was the man of the hour for the Trust’s annual meeting. ... Gulls swim to the CAC

The Salisbury University men’s and women’s swimming teams performed well last Saturday in their non-conference swim meet against Catholic University. The women won their side of the meet 114-91 but the men dropped to the visiting Cardinals 118-87. This meet also helped both teams finish the regular season with above .500 records.
