Innocent snowball fight leads to fatal shooting of 15-year-old boy

Last Sunday, Feb. 24, Teven Rutledge was celebrating his fifteenth birthday outside in the snowy Philadelphia landscape with his friends. The group was frolicking about, throwing snowballs. A passing pedestrian was pelted with one of the packed projectiles, who then proceeded to parley the pack with a pistol. SU disc golf goes a long way

Schumaker Pond, located directly behind the Ward Museum and only a short trip down College Avenue from the Salisbury University campus, is home to a disc golf course that bears the same name. The Schumaker Pond disc golf course recently hosted the second annual Ice Bowl to benefit the Maryland State food bank. The event was characterized by organizer Chris Roberts, "as a great success and great fun." The Ice Bowl raised $405 and collected nearly 150 pounds of food, all of which is to be donated to the food bank. ... Read full story..
