Salisbury University loses legend, legacy lives on

Though Salisbury University mourned the death of benefactor and friend Frank Perdue on Thursday, President Janet Dudley-Eshbach said his legend will not be forgotten. “His legacy will live on in the work he has done to shape the Salisbury University Foundation and make Salisbury University the institution that it is today,” Eshbach told the University.... Viewers would assume most of the time that animated movies are just for children. Adolescents and adults usually agree that these movies are filled with lame characters and cheesy story lines that only appeal to a younger generation. Diversity should be encouraged rather than criticized

As former writer and editor of The Flyer staff, I still feel an obligation to pick up the latest edition of the student run periodical and read, and often critique, the stories within. While keeping a friend company at work I picked up the March 14 edition and my eyes became fixated on the article titled “Our Perspective: How Diverse is SU?” Being a multiethnic student, who has proudly attended this institution for four years, I am fully aware of the campus diversity controversy.
